Acadon is a system designed to improve global communication, particularly that on the Internet, by providing software and other programs that will meet user needs that are the result of the linguistic obstacles to such communication. In so doing, it is able to bring into one system a whole series of useful features.

The Project focuses on such issues as improving worldwide access to data, particularly that existing in digital form. It features, among other things, a unique type of language system, itself called "Acadon."

The Acadon Development Corporation has been founded to help provide the necessary products to accomplish this mission. Emphasis is upon products of immediate economic value to users. Software for automatic machine translation will be available from English to Acadon and from Acadon to English. As distinct from other Machine Translation (MT) systems, this translation system is non-lossy, i.e., without any semantic loss at all.

This is a project in process of creation.

This web-site will include sections on translating and interpreting, on the various languages of the world and their vocabularies, on interlinguistics, on the Acadon language and its features, etc.
